Q: Who have you or someone you know partnered with to affect change in your community?

A: I have partnered with UMI Feeds who's mission is to spread love through food. Umi Feeds is food rescue organization that is dedicated to serving the hungry and homeless healthy and nutritious meals.

Volunteered at a church's pantry to distribute food and clothes to those in need.

Played Bingo and provided self care to the elderly in nursing homes

Hosted a jacket drive at my university to provide jackets for local members of my community.

Assisted teachers pro bono at an early education center.

Q: Briefly describe why the change you or someone you know is working on is needed in your community:

A: When we partner we are better together. Partnerships are designed to distribute resources equitably among the community. When the community is taken care of the community thrives.  Even if an organization or individual is not able to provide financial resources there is always something that can be done!

Q: Briefly describe your recommendations to someone trying to start up/join a similar program in their own community:

A: 1. Check GreatNonprofits.org
2. Filter by city, then state
3. Filter by issue that most aligns with that individual or company
4. Use the "Donate Now" button to send funds to the organization
5. **Bonus** Call the number listed to be informed of other non-financial ways to help out (volunteering, providing products, pro bono services etc)
