Think a chef’s tasting is just small bites? Here’s what to know before booking one. 🍽️🍷:

🍽️ How many courses are included?
🍷 Are beverages paired or additional?
👨🍳 Is there chef interaction or storytelling?
🪑 Is it seated or walk-around?
🎟️ Is it limited or one-night-only?

Here are three I’ve experienced, and each offers something different:

1. LAMB JAM SUPPER CLUB AT GUNSHOW 🐑
Best for: A one-night-only, chef-driven experience
A multicourse dinner with beverage pairings, a chef demonstration and an American lamb producer sharing the story behind the ingredients.

2. GEORGIA FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL CHEF’S TABLE 🍷
Best for: A slower, immersive dining experience
A fully seated five-course dinner featuring Georgia-sourced ingredients, wine pairings, chef storytelling and intimate long-table dining.

3. CARRABBA’S WINE DINNER 🍝
Best for: An approachable multi-course wine pairing
A five-course dinner pairing Italian-inspired comfort food with wine.

THE TAKEAWAY: A “tasting” can mean very different things. Look beyond the name and check what’s actually included so you know what kind of experience you’re paying for.
