I so enjoyed my Sunday lunch at Paschal's restaurant - known to have Atlanta's best fried chicken! Paschal’s is a soul food restaurant that's been around since 1947!
Did you know that MLK, Jesse Jackson and other civil rights leaders all ate here? In fact, the restaurant became one of the very few places African Americans diners and entertainers could go and perform. Paschal's is the place to be. Lots of history!
Here is what I tried and will be back for:
- Catfish: 2pc fried catfish, house sauce, collards and southern mac and cheese, biscuits
-2 pc fried chicken, Southern potato salad
- Rum Punch with @casamigo
-Peach cobbler
Inside, a lounge has just opened to pay homage to the rich history. Check it out Friday-Sunday from 6pm-11pm and enjoy custom cocktails, grilled chicken skewers, wings and more! Thanks so much Kenny for giving us a full tour of the lounge and banquet facilities!
Are you team fried catfish or team fried chicken?
