Drift Oyster Bar

I enjoyed @driftoysterbar at Avenue East Cobb where oysters 🦪 are flown in daily from the coasts! Drift, a vision of Chef & Owner Doug Turbush, has fresh seafood 🦐 and prime steaks 🥩 served sizzling hot from a wood fired 🔥 grill. The cocktails 🍹 are handcrafted with a different selection each season like the Smoked old fashioned.

I recommend Drift for an elevated date night (Valentine’s Day), specialty cocktails at the bar or patio, or to let your hair down with friends over a delicious meal with an elegant ambiance. The staff is super friendly and helpful too making your visit one to remember.

Here is what I tried:
-Wood fired broiled oysters: parmesan-garlic-lemon
-WILD CAUGHT BLACK GROUPER 🐟: sushi rice, ginger, scallion, sherry citrus soy
-Bone-in ribeye (16 oz) with gulf shrimp
-Loaded mashed potatoes: creme fraiche, oregon cheddar, smoked bacon 🥓 , scallions

Pro tip: ask for “Bring the Heat" 🌶 Drift's in-house Hot Sauce with your oysters.
